Our innovative cuisine reflects Casa Bonita’s practice of supporting the use of produce from the local community and using ingredients from our very own Pat’s Organic Garden. The garden was named after its designer, American horticulturist Pat Kennedy. Based on all-organic methods, Pat’s Organic Garden contributes to Casa Bonita’s commitment to sustainability and provides a unique farm-to-table dining experience. For a complete agro-tourism experience, guests may even take part in the harvesting of organic vegetables, fruits & herbs.

The menu, featuring the freshest ingredients, is based on local seafood with a fusion of local and international cuisine. Our artisanal bread is made in house, and dishes are enhanced with the herbs and vegetables that we grow in Pat’s Organic Garden. Fish is caught by local fishermen from the town of Barahuco, while the fresh cheese is made by young adults from the Monte Sacro organization in Polo, Barahona; and the “De Mi Siembre” marmalades are made by the women from the community of La Ciénega.
House specialties include the Baked Cheese, the Fresh Fish Ceviche, and Chillo Bahoruco Style. The chef is happy to cater dishes to the unique tastes of each guest and can prepare meals to meet any special need or desire. The restaurant is open from 7:00am to 11:00pm. Room service is available from 7:00am to 11:00pm.
Casa Bonita will prepare a special customized menu for private events, whether it’s a corporate event or social gathering, such as a wedding, birthday or other special celebration. After meeting one-on-one with the person we will create a personalized menu using the same fresh ingredients that are used in our daily menus. The restaurant is also open for cooking classes and food & wine pairings.
Meal Plan:
We offer a daily meal plan, which includes 3 a la carte meals per day (breakfast, lunch and dinner), including an appetizer, main course, dessert and coffee. *Drinks are excluded. *Meal plan must be purchased prior to arrival.
Adult: $60 USD per day plus tax and service
Child: $25 USD per day plus tax and service
We also offer a breakfast plan, that must be reserved at time of booking.
